My greatest wish-el salvador | Larry Gonzalez

While working on a series of promotional videos for the non-profit organization Con-textos in El Salvador, we came across a video on YouTube shot in the streets of Jerusalem. It showed people answering a very simple question: What is your greatest wish? Although there were a wide range of answers by a individuals wishing for personal, political and religious motivations, the underling common desires were similar: Sincerity and humanity. Inspired by the concept, we decided to shoot our own version on the streets of San Salvador. We discovered that even across geographical, cultural and political differences, people wish for similar things. In answering such a seemingly simple question we express similar hopes and desires as human beings. We would like to follow up with a similar video in Puerto Rico. The project will be shot in San Juan and various other locations throughout the island. The final six minute film will be screened in theaters throughout Puerto Rico. It will also be featured on Vimeo for a worldwide release.
