Phursumba Sherpa leads a group of Americans on a trek in Sikkim. They reach Gucha La Pass, over 16, 000 ft, and a beautiful place to view Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. Sikkim, previously a monarchy, became part of India in the '70s. Access to the Sikkim Himalayas is restricted, special passes are required.
