Two artists, Joyce Zipperer and Fae Penland, who love shoes and much more about women's fashions and adornments, were brought together at Art Space in Herndon, VA, for a two woman show. Joyce Zipperer is a well known sculptor, who works in metal. Previously, she worked in stone carving, styrofoam, graphics, costuming and painting. Fae is an award winning fine artist that works with a variety of mediums including watercolor, ink, graphite, color pencil and charcoal.
