Mysterious attacks by an invisible force plague the rural South African township community of Orange Farm, leaving its leaders at a loss to defend the people. Each attack is increasingly violent. With Mthunzi, a greedy local businessman, becoming wealthier and growing as a sexual icon. Something is amiss. The local Reverend sees this pattern, and upon investigation, learns that Mthunzi has enslaved the once-thought mythical Tokoloshe demon using its magic to fulfil his greedy desires. However, Mthunzi, through his increasing greed, breaks the golden rule of the Tokoloshe curse and loses control of the beast, which exacts its revenge through a murderous rampage. Thirsty for blood, the beast tears Mthunzi's ex-lovers limb from limb, savouring Mthunzi and the woman he loves, Boitumelo, for last. With the beast being unstoppable and having nowhere else to run Mthunzi turns to the Reverend for salvation. Will they be able to save themselves from the attack or will the beast prevail?
