Unheard of Truth, unprecedented power, this is what Jesus brought to earth. Jesus is in the early stages of his ministry. He came to earth to establish the kingdom of God on earth. He did not have to die in order to forgive sins; he was already doing that with signs following. But Jesus was beginning to realize that his kingdom was going to be rejected, for the world was not ready; and that he would have to come to earth as a man in a human body more than once. Nicodemus was looking for King Immanuel. The question is: How does Jesus explain to this lover of Truth that Messiah must come to earth in multiple comings and appearances, contrary to all the accepted religious teachings of his day?
