Wait Time is a short film about not growing up. Poppy has a small window of time each day after school to escape her life by living out her fantasies; unknowingly weaving the beginnings of a life of disassociation, addiction and self-abuse and eventually to a confrontation with the simple reality of who she is and what she really desires.
