So the question is that is a digital logline better than written logline? For decades, the written logline has been one of the most important tool in the film and television industry. Producers, agents, executive, and screenplay writers rely on written logline because they are quick and easier to read and compare. However, with the rise of digital media, I have come up with the idea of concept of digital logline. A digital logline is a short video presentation of story concept. Instead of rely on text, it combines music, visuals, motion graphics, and narration to create emotional episode for the viewer. From my perspective, in the future, producers and executive may expect both: a written logline for evaluation and digital logline for impact. In conclusion, in an increasingly visual world, writers can present their stories through words and multimedia may have advantage in capturing attention and bringing their projects to life.
