In California, a young girl drew a 'Black Lives Matter' drawing and at the bottom she added, 'Any Life'. And she was punished for it. Unbelievable yes, but teaching kids about race doesn't need to be divisive. Instead, we should encourage them to embrace our differences and recognize that we’re all human. Just like I've taught my Elementary School students time and time again, "We're all the same."
