Le cabaret oublié | Alex Kipp

This is a live stage comedy show I directed and co-wrote for Cirque de Legume Productions in Ireland in 2013. The premise is simple: a dysfunctional trio of brothers attempts to perform their masterpiece cabaret, and succeed in entertaining the audience with their spectacular failures. We spent one week in the fall of 2012 workshopping characters and material, and then put the show together in four weeks the following summer in Sligo, Ireland. All characters and content were developed and co-written by me and these three wonderful performers, Pablo Ibarluzea, Jaimie Carswell, and Ed Hicks.
