Kick-Ass 3 – A Punkrock Rebellion for the Modern Era Kick-Ass left a mark on me when I was a kid. Today, I want to bring this franchise back to life with a fresh energy — more current, more free. I envision a film where the heroes don’t have classic superpowers, but a much more human strength: their inner struggles, their commitment, their freedom of expression. A multiethnic team — Asians, Africans, Europeans, and many others — embodying diversity in all its forms. Their costumes would be exaggerated, bold, featuring a hero in leather briefs proudly embracing his homosexuality. It would be a mix of humor, emotion, and rebellion. Visually, the film would incorporate comic book elements: colorful onomatopoeias like SPLAAAHH bursting onto the screen, similar to the new animated Asterix and Obelix series on Netflix. The music would be PunkRocker by Teddy Bears — electric, raw, pulsing behind every action scene. This Kick-Ass 3 wouldn’t just be a superhero movie. It would be a manifesto for freedom, tackling strong themes like the war in Palestine, social struggles, and sexual freedom — always with a quirky and accessible tone. A film mixing humor, friendship, chosen family, and real fights, that could bring a unique breath to the genre. I’d also love to see Dave back on screen for a brief but meaningful moment, older and wiser, in a scene where he puts on his iconic mask once again. If this project speaks to you, I’m ready to work on it and collaborate with passionate talents.
