Spotlight Season 2 Episode 9 Indie Film The Glamour and Squalor w/Director Marq Evans

Go Indie Now turns the Season 2 Spotlight in Episode 9 on the story of maybe one of the first influencers of Generation X into the Millenial era. You may or may not have heard the name Marco Collins but you most likely have heard of the bands he had a hand introducing you to. Marco's story is one that has been needed to be told because it touches on so many of society's core issues. Joe Compton sat down with director Marq Evans, who's new documentary The Glamour and The Squalor, takes you on the journey of Marco Collins' life, the good, the bad, and the ugly of it. Joe and Marq talk about why Marco needs to be recognized, what the movie brings to light, and ultimately what we can learn from not only Marco but a time in history that did things a little differently.
