Sojourn - team lake house - 48 hour film project entry | Chris Joye

This awesome short film was made for the Denver 48 Hour Film Project competition. Yes, you heard it right...we had forty-eight hours to write, produce, shoot, edit, score and publish a short 4-7 minute film. The genre we drew was Vacation or Holiday. The elements required to be in our film were as follows: a character named Russell or Rhoda Powers, a coach, a straw and the line of dialogue, "Let's keep it in the group." As Colorado video production goes, the turnaround on this shoot was immediate but the quality flourishes and Jadyn's story was told. The bags are packed but this is anything but an idyllic family vacation to grandma's house for 7-year old Jadyn and her mom and dad.
