It tells the story of several Arab women and their relation to sexuality and womenhood. Filmed in the multi-cultural, multi-religious and multi-ethnic city of Damascus, Syria, the women in this film come from all parts of society and have different religions and ethnic backgrounds. They will speak openly about the most intimate, most private parts of women's lives that usually are never revealed, let alone talked about or filmed: their desire. SEAMS OF DESIRE will reveal the facets of this "secret" yet ever-present reality from an inside perspective: an all-female team will go on this exploration into the realm of Arab womanhood, composing a mosaic-like film that will reveal how the raunchy and glitzy side of the lingerie relates to the intimate desires, hopes and aspirations of Arab women.
