I play Ginny Hilliard, a grandmother raising her grandchild since my daughter is in and out of prison for various drug problems. When Ginny's daughter, Tara, goes to prison, Ginny is left to raise her teenage granddaughter, Kate, by herself. Ginny sees Kate exhibiting some of the same troubling behavioral patterns Tara had at that age. Ginny struggles to find a way to keep Kate from going down the same path.
