Film #1 Mise en Scène The Mise en scène assignment consists of one shot, with no cuts. The camera must be locked off – in other words no pans, tilts or camera movement of any kind. The camera must be absolutely still. The emphasis in this exercise is on composition and story content delivered by information within the frame. Specifications: no movement permitted whatsoever by the camera. The film is to be silent and shot in B/W. The story is to be told within the frame. Length: 30 seconds.
