Mama "did the best she could" to raise me. Whatever insecurities she had about herself were passed on into my life. In remembering the confusion I can straighten it out for myself. Now that I am a mother...I can see what it is to pass on strength and weaknesses. As a woman, knowing strength and how to access strength begins with power. Without the power to see my own needs I would never be able to identify the weaknesses I have inherited and would unconsciously pass to my daughter. I am grateful for time and experience. Every mark on my body is a stripe of achievement.
