Success Stories: DEC'1 Filming My Own Short

Filming My Own Short

I'm so pumped. I missed an opportunity to have my script Seaside read. A little bit too new around here to understand the procedure. Kicking myself. At any rate, that's behind me and I'm shooting my own shorts, hopefully working my way up to features. Time waits for no man! It's a 10-minute short called "Trampoline", set in Nashville, is a coming-of-age about two 15-year-old girls who have written a song about friendship. It's a good song, and propels one of them to stardom, while the other writer, her best friend, is left behind. Logline: "Two best friends' bond is tested when one gets a music deal, forcing a choice between fame and forever." Friendship wins out in the end, but with a unique surprise twist.
