I received my first double recommend for my screenplay "The Reckoning". I started writing in October after I had what I call an early on-set midlife crisis with having my first child. It has been an awesome learning experience tweaking crafting, & perfecting. It's still by far not perfect and I don't know where to go from here. The fact that I made at least one person (other than my wife or me) enjoy something I made is the whole point anyway.

Congrats on the double recommend, that's a huge milestone, especially for a script you started from such a personal place. Love the honesty in your post too, the reminder that connecting with even one person is the whole point, that's easy to lose sight of. Excited to see where 'The Reckoning' goes from here!

Congratulations, Nick! I really like your perspective. Making someone you've never met genuinely connect with your story is a milestone in itself. Wishing you all the best with (The Reckoning) and the journey ahead.
