The Voice
By Valentina Ezejiaku
Millions may love,
Millions may hate,
But true love always prevails.
The world unfolds a warmth that has no end,
A warmth filled with love’s embrace,
Through the ocean which has no bounds.
Calling you out—
The voice of the voiceless,
Yet heard by the deaf.
Feelings to be expressed,
Words to be spoken,
Yet not a single one is felt nor heard.
Walking through this path alone,
All dark and lonely,
Tormented by this feeling.
The light is seen,
The echoes heard,
The voice surpasses.
The moment is here—
My life’s only moment,
Crushed by this sanity.
The light is seen,
The path’s not lonely,
Just you and I.
Just wrote it recently and waiting for your feedback and corrections if possible

That is beautiful. Have you considered setting the words to music? I would be glad to give it a try if you would like, no cost.

Hi, Valentina Ezejiaku. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know that I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Authoring & Playwriting Lounge since you're asking for feedback on a poem. Beautiful poem. The opening hooked me. Fantastic job on the poem!
