Introducing: The Real Love Story – A Grounded Tale of Young Love

Hi everyone, my name is Ema and I’m the writer of The Real Love Story.

This feature is an emotional drama exploring how real love doesn’t always end happily, but still shapes who we become. At its center is Eve, a young woman who feels deeply but struggles to show vulnerability. Through her relationships with Luke, Lucas, Steve, and the quiet support of David, she learns that love’s true impact is measured not by endings, but by the choices, mistakes, and moments that leave lasting marks.

I structured the story and dialogues to make the characters relatable and authentic, bridging real and fictional worlds. I’d love to connect with anyone interested in feedback, collaboration, or discussing character-driven dramas.

Logline: A young woman navigates the messy, unfinished, and transformative nature of love, learning that real love is measured not by endings, but by how it shapes who we become.

Hi, Ema Meštrović. Welcome to the community. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know that I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Introduce Yourself Lounge since you're introducing yourself and promoting your script. Let me know if you have any questions.

Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world. Screenwriters, producers, directors, and more. www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...

Stage 32's next Community Open House is Dec 29th (www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32-s-december-community-open-ho...). It's free to attend. It'll also help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with creatives and industry pros.

I suggest adding a profile picture of yourself. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you. You can upload a picture by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Update profile picture."

Hi Maurice Vaughan

Thank you so much for connecting and for moving my post to the Introduce Yourself Lounge. I’m new to Stage 32, so I really appreciate your guidance!

I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the best way to share my script with producers or other industry professionals here. I’d love to get feedback and make connections, but I’m not sure how to do that yet.

Thank you again for your time and help.

You're welcome, Ema Meštrović. Your script sounds interesting, and it has a great theme! You could post your script on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”). Other members can also give you feedback on your logline, synopsis, and script.

Reach out to the Success Team at success@stage32.com. Geoff and his team can help you connect with producers, executives, and more.

You can get feedback on scripts, loglines, etc. in the Screenwriting Lounge. And you can do script swaps with other members in the Screenwriting Lounge.

You can also do script swaps with other members in the Writers' Room Lounge, and there's a Coverage Report every Monday in the Writers' Room. WR members read a member's script and write feedback on the script before the Coverage Report, then everyone gives their feedback during the Coverage Report. You have to be a Writers' Room member to access the Writers' Room and Writers' Room Lounge. You can sign up for your first month free here: www.stage32.com/writers-room/plans-vip
