This scene is for my short film "The World Of Thought, Perception & Creativity" It's also to be part of another film ""The World of Inventions". Therefore the first mentioned is to advertise for two sequels, followed by the second mentioned which is a total of four collectively.
However here goes
Narrator + titles:
According to official history the world evolved from times AD to the Roman Empire to Persian Empire etc. then eventually to the less war era 1800's where perception of God’s recording of one's deeds was considered folklore, tales and superstition, which also came along with the then controversial theories of black holes claiming to do just about the same. Up came Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1816 then scientist, said he can "freeze time" of all subjects, with his invention the camera!
Scene:
Crowd gathered and scientist (Joseph Nicéphore Niépce)
Scientist:
Does anyone then, volunteer's?
Mature male person in crowd:
Art thou claiming to that of God and thou dost able to record time?
Other person in crowd:
“Thoughts of God and records of deeds are all superstition any adventure!
Arguments in crowd:
“Does not matter he doth claimeth of feats that of the supernatural, that if done on earth wilt bring about “the end”!
Scientist:
I will prove thus.. adjusts himself…”camera Flash”, Produces photo.
Male member of the crowd:
Huh “gasp”..”Witchcraft”;;;he is son of the devil!
Conversation in the crowd:
Let’s all leave and fleeeee, God has wrought the end for our sins!
Scientist:
It’s just science! (proudly, expressively)
Man in crowd:
faints (persons (pensive) catches & rest him gently on floor…)
Females in crowd:
Smiles (curious)
The story continues...

The World of Inventions sounds intriguing, Eon C. Rambally. There isn't a lot of action in the scene, but the dialogue held my interest. My favorite part is when the scientist took the photo and people panicked.

The thing about that era Maurice Vaughan, is that so many concerns were going around that even in today's world is viewed as superstition. Until "Science" proves otherwise is not just alarming but also hilarious! From Portals to Magic Spells, The ability to communicate by "Magical Devices" and more . Where does humanity apply "Sanity" in all of this is even more hilarious.!
Oh, we creatives have our tasks cut out for us!! ))

James Fleming, understood. The juxtaposition of science and superstition. tells of a different than usual stakes and deals much more with message, into the subliminal realm. Needs more time to develop that.
The then dialogue is an interesting subject and has an ongoing research by many as recalled, but I've given a synopsis for now.
The morbs? When coming to these matters there are many leading figures will support the feeling. There so much we have to go back in history to query and research!
