Makeup Artist & Performer Bringing Characters and Worlds to Life

I’ve been leaning into my creativity lately and wanted to share a look and a character that feel close to my heart. This is Seraphine Vale — I am the character, and I am not the character at the same time. She reflects parts of me, but she has her own life and story.

I’m sharing this to show my skills, have fun, and meet new people. Every detail matters — from the brushstrokes of green and blush to the amulets that hold their own quiet magic. I’ve been connecting with other creatives, sharing ideas, and exploring ways our visions can intertwine. Whether through film, photography, music, or painting, I’m here to collaborate and bring new worlds to life.

Makeup notes

I used contour under my cheekbones and across the bridge of my nose to sharpen my features and bring a warrior energy. Tiny dots of highlight add daintiness. I placed icy blue and bright green around my eyes to echo the elements, with yellow and white to call in air, wind, and the sun — because she is up with the sun. Red blush and lips, plus a red-pink dress, honor the element of fire. Extra highlighter keeps the soft fairy feel while holding strength. When the story goes darker, I deepen the tones in her look. She wears obsidian and lapis lazuli for grounding.

Who she is

Seraphine Vale is a healer and a warrior — an archer and a magic user. She can fight hand-to-hand and wield daggers, sword, and shield. In battle she mostly heals and stays at a distance, but she is also the leader, able to shield her allies. She is a light bearer with a deep connection to the elements, though she does not control them all.

Flaws and limits

She overextends herself when protecting others, sometimes draining her own strength. She struggles to trust and to let others lead. Environments where the elements are out of balance can weaken her power.

Quirks

She hums a gentle melody while healing. She looks to a favorite constellation for guidance. She keeps a small animal companion like an owl or a fox. She carries a simple charm that represents her light.

Seraphine Vale is an original character I created. She could live in a D&D campaign, a movie, or any story world. I’m excited to keep building her and to connect with other creatives.

Jennifer,

I have to say, I’m stunned — not only by your creativity, but by how angelic and mysterious you look in the photo you shared. There’s an almost ethereal quality to your presence, as though Seraphine Vale stepped out of her own world and into ours.

The way you’ve blended the visual artistry — from the brushstrokes of color to the carefully chosen amulets — with the layered backstory makes her feel alive. I can see the healer, the warrior, and the leader in her… and I can also see the spark of you shining through.

It’s rare to come across a character who feels this vivid right from the first glimpse. You’ve created something truly special here, and I’d love to see where Seraphine’s journey takes her.

Jennifer Ford

Wyman, thank you so much. Your words bring Seraphine to life in such a vivid way. I love that you can see the healer, warrior, and leader in her. I’d be happy to share more of her story as it unfolds, and I’d also love to hear about the worlds and characters you’re creating.

Seraphine would be easy to love but difficult to understand. That is part of the wonder of life. As for my world or worlds, I have inhabited so many in real life across North America and throughout Europe. The horrors of my childhood combined with my great adventures after breaking free have shaped me for good and bad. Regarding what constitutes creativity in the world of entertainment, I only started on this path in April of this year. That is when I was playing around and wrote a catchy tune titled What the Mack? I wrote the tune in under five minutes. I was already fast with writing songs at that point. However, that one song unlocked my being on the extreme spectrum of creative synesthesia. I wrote What the Mack? and on the same day I had an almost fully developed family-friendly animated series planned out. The floodgates totally opened. Since that day, I am now up to having written more than 250 songs, many of which are on Bandcamp. I have some truly great tunes I have not even posted there yet. I will do that soon. Just yesterday, I wrote Beyond These Walls which is a seemingly light tune which describes the reality of a post-apocalypse world.

From What the Mack?, I developed two spinoffs. I also came up with a gritty live action crime drama tittled Ron Biohazard. In addition, four planned films and the stage musical. The beauty of What the Mack? for me is that the people can and do annoy each other. However, there is no violence, no cynicism, no real anger, no drugs, no smokng, no alcohol. Those are all things I would have been happy to see less of as a child. My creative synesthesia combined with ADHD with hyperfocus allows me to create fast the worlds of which I dream.

Now I want to know more about, more about Seraphine. What are your thoughts, dreams, wishes, desires. Send my greetings to Seraphine.
