I’ve been meaning to dive into After Effects for quite some time, and I finally started exploring it more seriously recently. In the process, I came across this tutorial—while it’s from 2021 and a bit on the longer side, I found it to be incredibly valuable and well worth the watch if you’re genuinely interested in learning the software.
I thought it would be fun to share with anyone else who’s on a similar learning journey.
Do you have a favorite YouTuber or content creator for After Effects tutorials? I’d love to hear any recommendations, especially ones geared toward beginners.

As Lindbergh said, Andrew Kramer at videocopilot.net - he's got the most in-depth tutorials. Though most are for earlier versions of AE, they are all still applicable and very usefull.

Thank you Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq., Ipg and Lindbergh E Hollingsworth! The name sounds familiar but I'll check em out.

I’ve been teaching After Effects for years, and I keep learning more about it. Whenever I watch a tutorial that helps me, I add it to a playlist. That way 6 months later, when I’m trying to solve a similar problem, I can find it again.
Here’s my AE playlist.
