Hi everyone, and today I really want to make a comeback. I've been curious about screenwriting since I was 14, and I've given it up for a year. I started to abandon it and got caught up in other things and became someone I didn't want to be. Now I want to give up all of that and go back to being the creative guy I used to be, continue writing screenplays and not give up, even if I've put all my scripts away somewhere. Thank you everyone.

“Admirable to return to writing with such dedication. Reconnecting with storytelling will certainly yield powerful narratives.”

Thanh, it’s never too late to return to what truly inspires you. Many writers step away at some point, but the passion for storytelling often finds its way back stronger. Every experience you gain adds depth to your voice as a writer. Wishing you renewed motivation and success as you continue your screenwriting journey.

If writing and creating feeds you soul then do it to fill your cup. take breaks, rest if you must but don't quit. If storytelling is who you are then that's a part of you that should never be ignored.

Now that's the biggest success story I've seen in ages. It's not about the person who passively gets called in for a meeting or who passively wins a contract. It's about the person who has the guts to have given up when everything was going against them but didn't wait to be called to have the courage to start writing again. It's about the person who, in the face of nothing, decided, "I am going to write again because I believe in myself and while it would be nice if others did, I am the person who counts the most. And if nobody appreciates the great gem they're missing, I won't. " > can't tell you how many times I've put my own script before watching Netflix or YouTube pr something else because I enjoy my dialogue so much more, or how many times I hear one of my lines and burst out with rib-aching laughter. it's their loss, not ours.

Hi Thanh, I knew at a young age who I wanted to become and the path I wanted to pursue. Like you, I faced obstacles along the way, but I learned that if you truly want something, the key is to never give up. Your dream is still there—go get it. No one can stop you but yourself. You’ll be just fine, because you never abandoned your dream. Keep pushing forward.

I want to continue pursuing writing because storytelling gives life to emotions, struggles, and dreams that people may not know how to express themselves.
Every story I write teaches me something about people, conflict, hope, and resilience.
What keeps me going is the power to make someone feel:
“I need to know what happens next.”
That connection between writer and audience is something I deeply value, and it’s why I know this is a path worth continuing.
