I am a multilingual screenwriter (English/German/Russian) and I’ve just finished a high-concept, gritty psychological thriller / dark coming-of-age script titled "REBOUND".

It's a brutal, fast-paced story set in the suburbs of Long Island, NY. It centers around a 17-year-old girl who ends up with a permanent "Glasgow smile" after severe bullying, spirals into a dark drug addiction, and uncovers a massive family tragedy—leading her onto an absolute, cold-blooded path of revenge. Think Revenge meets Euphoria but with much higher and darker stakes.

@Libby Wright: My "heart language" when it comes to deep character emotions and gritty atmosphere is definitely Russian-it naturally lends itself well to dark, intense drama. However, because I structured "REBOUND" specifically for modern streaming platforms, I developed the entire narrative and dialogue directly in English to keep the pacing sharp and globally accessible.

@Pat Alexander: The inspiration actually came from a very dark reality-the chilling annual statistics of teen suicide. Behind every single number in those reports, there is a hidden, devastating story of isolation, broken trust, and systemic failure. I wanted to write a narrative that looks directly into that darkness, but instead of letting the protagonist become another tragic statistic, she channels that absolute despair into a ruthless, cold-blooded path of survival and retribution.
