Introduce Yourself : Micro thriller - New vertical cinema by Leony Movies

Hi everyone!

I'm Leony, a French actress, writer, and filmmaker based in Paris .

I trained in acting for six years, and over the past few years I've been writing original screenplays with a strong focus on narrative structure and emotional intensity.

More recently I started directing my own work, I created a concept I call New Vertical Cinema, cinematic short-form fiction designed specifically for vertical formats. I've been exploring it across different genres and visual languages : psychological thriller, political satire, horror. Three series produced so far, all written, directed, acted, edited and published by me.

My latest project is The Edit : a 10-episode dystopian series about a near-future where a governmental AI system edits reality on demand. Political satire meets psychological thriller, one fixed shot per episode. It's available on YouTube and across my socials if you're curious.

I'm very productive, I write fast, shoot fast, publish regularly, but I'm at a stage where I'm genuinely craving quality creative exchanges.
