Hi everyone, glad to be here.
I'm Filippo, a composer based in Turin, Italy. I'm conservatory-trained with two degrees in piano, and these days I write orchestral and cinematic music for animation and film, with a real love for scoring to picture: finding the emotion, pacing, and character in a scene and shaping it through orchestral color.
I'm at the stage of building my body of work, currently developing a set of rescores of animated shorts to show my voice as a composer.
I'm here mainly to learn from this community and to connect with directors and animators working on their own projects. If you're making something and thinking about its sound, I'd genuinely love to hear about it. And if I can ever be helpful on the music side, please reach out.
