Hello Stage32 Community,
My name is Arunjit Borah, and I am an independent filmmaker, writer, and director from India. I began my journey as an Assistant Director in Hindi cinema and eventually moved into creating my own short films and feature films that explore intimate human stories, cultural depth, and emotional truth.
Stage32 has played a meaningful role in my creative journey.
For my short film TAXII, the music was composed by Brandi Thomas, whom I discovered right here on Stage32.
For my first feature film Midnight Song, the song was beautifully composed by Meghan Scott from the United States—another wonderful collaboration made possible through this platform.
These international partnerships reinforced my belief in the global creative community that Stage32 builds.
Over the years, I have directed films such as Mini, Goodbye Guruji (produced by NFDC). My work continues to evolve as I explore diverse themes and cross-cultural storytelling.

I am currently preparing to spend time in Berlin to explore collaborations with European filmmakers, producers, composers, actors, and storytellers. I am open to co-directing, writing partnerships, creative consulting, and workshops related to film and storytelling.
