I’m R.L. Canupp, a writer and screenwriter from North Carolina. I build emotionally charged, character‑driven stories that blend atmosphere, intimacy, and a little bit of myth. My work tends to live in the spaces between genres. Where nostalgia meets danger, where memory becomes a character, and where people try to find themselves in the middle of chaos.
I’m currently juggling a few interconnected projects, including a limited series and a multi‑book literary universe, and other projects. I love exploring how stories can echo across formats. I’m big on world‑building, emotional architecture, and crafting narratives that feel lived‑in and human.
