Help a girl out

Hey. I'm kind of all over the place, really, because this is my first time putting my self out there. Told myself 'what's the worst that could happen?'

I'm Dammy and I'm a mess--in the best way. I write dark romance, psychological thrillers and stories that well...aren't "safe" or "comfortable'.

I like exploring obsession , revenge, the messy parts of being a human really. And apparently, many people are a huge fan of messy stories, so I guess that checks out.

My characters are intense, twisted and kind of...alive in a way that sticks with you. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to make them live on screen, where every tension-filled moment, every flash of rage and longing hits people in real life, not just print.

I guess what drives me is that I can't stop thinking about stories, about how far people go for love, for revenge, for survival.

I want to learn, meet people, figure out how to turn these scripts into something people can feel on screen.

Hi Dammy,

I love your energy and the way you dive into the messy, intense parts of human emotion. Your stories sound gripping and full of life, and I can definitely see how your characters could leave a mark on screen.

I’m a professional book and screenplay editor, and I work with writers to help bring ideas like yours to life on the page and in a format that is ready for production. If you’d like, we could chat about your scripts and explore ways to make your tension-filled moments hit as strongly on screen as they do in your writing.

Would you like to continue this conversation in DMs?
