Hello everyone,
I’m excited to officially join the Stage 32 community and connect with creative professionals, producers, and industry leaders from around the world.
My name is Şeref Şaşmaz, a screenwriter focused on developing internationally driven feature films that explore faith, humanity, psychological tension, and moral responsibility in times of global uncertainty.
My current feature project, Kıyamete 5 Kala – The Final Call, is a 130-minute cinematic story designed for global audiences and streaming platforms.
In addition to this project, I have three other feature-length screenplays in development across different genres, each crafted with strong international potential and layered storytelling.
I am actively seeking meaningful collaborations with producers, managers, and partners who are passionate about powerful, character-driven cinema with global reach.

You could post Kıyamete 5 Kala – The Final Call on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

Hi Amanda, thank you! It’s great to connect here.
I draw inspiration from a mix of international cinema and powerful storytelling. Films like Schindler’s List, The Pianist, and Incendies have always moved me deeply, both emotionally and visually. On the TV side, I admire series that combine strong character development with intense drama, like Chernobyl and Band of Brothers.
Ultimately, I’m drawn to stories that explore the human condition, moral dilemmas, and the resilience of people under extreme circumstances — which is exactly the heart of my current project, The Last Bullet of Mercy.

I’m very excited about connecting with fellow creatives here and sharing my journey. My current project, The Last Bullet of Mercy, is a 3-act international war-drama that I’m developing for festival and global audiences. I’ll definitely keep you posted on its progress and any updates.
