Introduce Yourself : Architect diving more into film by Thomas Tovar

Hey everyone, my name’s Thomas. I’m a Miami-based architectural and interior designer currently exploring the world of production design and creative production.

Most of my background has been in architecture, hospitality, and experiential design, but recently I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on 3D modeling and rendering work for production designers across commercials, brand activations, and a TV show. That experience really opened my eyes to how much I love the intersection between space and film.

I’ve always been passionate about cinema, so discovering the creative and design roles within the industry made me want to seriously pursue this path further. Right now I’m looking to continue learning, connecting with people in the industry, and finding opportunities where I can bring my background in spatial design into film, television, commercials, or experiential storytelling work.
