Hi, Ryann Goldberg. Sinners is my favorite movie of the year. The writing, directing, cinematography, acting, music, everything is phenomenal! I saw posts on social media about things I missed the first time I watched the movie, so I plan on rewatching it.
I loved it! As a horror fan, I don’t typically enjoy vampire films. They’re always the same time after time (except From Dusk until Dawn) . But I love the demonesque twist behind it. And it had a strong story line in my opinion.
It absolutely blew me away. I went in knowing very little about it, and I’m so glad I did. Every moment took me by surprise. I was completely hooked from beginning to end. It’s the kind of film that lingers with you, challenges you, and sparks conversation. I genuinely believe it’s going to be studied and talked about for decades. Whether people love it or hate it, Sinners has carved out its place in cinematic history.
I also can't stop listening to the soundtrack on repeat. It gives me chills.
like Ashley I didn’t know much about it going in. definitely wouldn’t have jumped to see if I had known about the vampires…BUT loved it! wow. the acting, the music, the dancing, it was so creative. and in the end, loved the vampires too! I had to appreciate all the hard work it took to put this project together from the top to bottom, cast, crew, producers.

I'm waiting until it's on Prime or another service without the rental fee, but I'm very excited to see it. Michael B. Jordan is big time.

I have to second Xochi Blymyer's advice! Of every movie I've seen this year, it's the one that I was most happy to invest in seeing on the big screen.
