Maybe 40 years ago I walked into an in-the-round at The Bluebird Cafe and was stunned to see our publicist at Vector, Lance Cowan as part of it. I soon learned he was as good of a songwriter as our clients (which is saying something). I began urging him way back then to get his music out there (he had this song, "Heal Of The Bread" that still wows me) . He chose his family & personal life over adding that drama way back when.
In 2024 when he recorded his first album, I couldn't not jump in to help him. Now, three years later his third album has been announced (The Air That You Breathe - a July 24th release) and the first single, "Where'd They Go" was released yesterday. Just like Lance, it's sensitive & intelligent, it's also a look at a very real problem America and it's immigrants are facing. Can't wait for everyone to hear this album!
We're gonna take his music to Folk Radio for the first time with this album. Servicing it to Americana & Western formats troo! Will try to expand his touring profile too. This second chapter is a great & inspiring story. He and his music, are worthy of the critical acclaim that's accumulating. I'm thrilled to be but a part of this journey.
If you need advance links, please let me know. Art Menius Radio is leading the charge in that area. Jeremy Verrall with At The Helm is leading the charge with Euro & UK media.
