A few years ago, I saw a telefilm called The Uninvited, also known as Victim of the Haunt, and The Haunting of Patricia Johnson. I still watch it on streaming services. Based on true events, I think they could have done sequels that followed the formula making it an anthology movie series inspired by true events. I even think I know which ones.
There is also a film called Inhabited where a family moves into a new house which inhabited by fairy like goblins/trolls called Huldre who targeted their daughter. It looked like dark fantasy film from Disney, and I think it could have gotten sequels.
