I’ve honestly found a lot of value being in The Writer’s Room (even as an audio/animation guy) and this is a perfect example of why.
Stage 32 is hosting a Breakdown Webcast (LIVE on Zoom) with Evan Anglin, Co-Head of the Animation Department and Literary Manager at Zero Gravity Management. He’ll be doing a Q&A focused on character development and the animation world, which is useful no matter what part of the pipeline you work in.
Evan works closely with showrunners, writers, directors, studios, and production companies, and has been involved with projects like STEM NIGHT and THE PANIC. He’s also spent time at places like Bold Management, Partos Company, and Innovative Artists.
One thing that really stood out to me was how much he emphasizes character-driven stories—slice-of-life, YA, dark comedy, animation, and hybrid projects. That perspective applies across writing, animation, and even sound.
If you’re looking to sharpen your storytelling instincts (not just technical skills), this looks like a solid one to check out.

I've found a lot of value being in the Writers' Room too, Cyrus Sales. The Breakdown Webcast sounds incredible! I'll try and make it.
