A troubled yuppie, working in the World Trade Center on 9/11, skips town after the towers fall, leaving everyone to believe he’s dead. Years later, after getting his life together, he returns to NYC to make amends.

SYNOPSIS:

Tom Colon is only 25 but his life is already falling apart. He's an alcoholic, coke addict, womanizer and compulsive gambler, who owes money to the mob. He's on the verge of getting fired from his job as a stock broker. His marriage is on the rocks and he's completely incapable of being a father to his newborn son.

He steps out of his office in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 just before the planes hit the buildings. Fleeing ground zero, he suddenly realizes that if he leaves town, and his myriad problems, no one will come looking for him. They'll think he died in the towers. So that's what he does.

This is a story of sin and redemption. It's about growing up and taking responsibility for one's actions no matter the cost. It's a tale of healing, forgiveness and the power of the human spirit.
