UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
By Tracey L. Thompson

GENRE: Fantasy
LOGLINE:

When the reincarnation contract of a fashionable but naïve teen who died in 1952 gets cancelled, she must fight the bureaucracy on the other-side, as well as the hands of time, to get it reinstated before another soul “walks in” to the life that was destined for her.

SYNOPSIS:

In 1952 at the age of sixteen, Miranda dies in a car accident. Her sister Ramona is only ten. Fast forward and now Ramona is in her late seventies, while Miranda drives around the streets of Heaven in a pink convertible. Miranda has big plans for the future, she is going to reincarnate back into the family on Earth as Ramona’s first great-grandchild. She can see a happy wonderful life ahead of her. She applies at the Office of Reincarnation and her application is approved. She signs a contract as the baby is already in the first trimester of development. All is well, until she finds out that Ramona has only six to nine months to live. Because she wants to spend time with her sister again, she changes her mind and asks for a Walk-In Soul to take her place. But one of her most trusted Ancestors foretells that Miranda could do both if she wanted to; see Ramona again AND reincarnate. With this knowledge, she decides to go ahead with her reincarnation. But another Soul has already volunteered to assume her contract. She returns to the Office of Reincarnation to restore her contract, only to find it’s been cancelled due to the new agreement. The two Sisters face similar challenges as Ramona tries to cheat death long enough to see her first great-grandchild, and Miranda tries to restore her contract so the replacement Soul won’t get to “walk in” to the life that was destined for her.
