A new crop of med-students start their residency at the first hospital to reopen in a zombie-infested Los Angeles where they battle the undead, each other, and the looming threat of a military takeover.

SYNOPSIS:

In the pilot, the hospital’s ribbon-cutting ceremony gets derailed by a horde of unexpected guests. The crop of green med-students Patrick, Derek, Alissa, Miguel, and Warren introduce themselves, leaving resident doctors Libby and Ben with some concerns. Patrick butts heads with Libby when he finds out that killing a zombie is a required part of their orientation. Meanwhile, Derek gets his first patient as a doctor, but struggles to diagnose his bizarre symptoms. Libby wrestles with a moral dilemma when her high-ranking military father asks her to spy on her co-workers. And when hundreds of people show up at the hospital looking to cure their zombie loved ones, Patrick makes an important career decision.
