A modern day “Romeo & Juliet” about a  US soldier falls in love with a girl overseas showing that even in the ugliest  places, love may blossom.

SYNOPSIS:

A modern day "Romeo & Juliet" about a US soldier in Iraq falls in love with a girl from over there after finding his girlfriend back home cheating on him; both families resist them being together but in the end they prove love can blossom anywhere and without bounds. A modern day Romeo and Juliet with a US soldier, Cristov Delgades and Iraqi girl, Sabrina. Cristov goes to Iraq for war, leaving his wife to be, Lauren behind. There he learns the brutal realities of war through the scope of his rifle. Even with compassion in his heart, not all things are ok on either side of the war. Abdu, has 5 boys and a girl, Sabrina, while remaining at below poverty. One of his sons was killed in US gunfire and now he vows vengeance by sending his boys to the al qaeda when they are old enough. Yasmeen, the mom has no say and Sabrina can only watch helplessly the ugliness of the other side of the war. After Cristov returns on early leave to find Lauren cheating on him, he returns to make friends with his only trusted mate, Mike. Chance allows Cristov and Sabrina to meet in the marketplace. From different worlds and cultures, they put it aside and unify things with the universal language, love. Things go awry when Sabrina's family and Cristov's don't want them together, but they somehow find a way. Abdu learns of this love and tries to stop it only to get killed by Mike's snipe fire. Cristov gets captured by terrorists and tortured only to be saved by an unsung hero. Things get wild when the terrorists get a hold of Sabrina and publicly stone her. Yasmeen tries to make out with the last of her remaining family, but that’s cut short from accidents on the American side. Both sides so different, yet the same when seen from afar, Cristov must find a way to save Sabrina from not only his people, her own and finally themselves. This love story will last lifetimes as we learn love blossoms when we least expect and makes us do things we never thought possible.
