A guy makes all the wrong  decisions in life leading to all the wrong places, but may finally realize all the  negative was needed to get to the positive in life.

SYNOPSIS:

A guy makes all the wrong decisions in life, ultimately leading him to all the wrong places, yet still ending on a positive note, after all, none of it would have been possible without the negative. A story about trials by fire and just making it out of life.Frank Shank is locked up in prison for dope charges. When he gets out, his brother Shaw Shank, a pharmacist, tries to get Frank on the right track. While Frank was locked up, he lost his mother. Now starting from the bottom again, Frank finally gets a job at a coffee shop as a fresh start. While at work, Frank runs into his old partner in crime, Jesse O. Jesse throws some money Frank's way to get him back on his feet and for keeping his mouth shut. Frank's shift leader at work, Zach has a beautiful, younger sister, Anna. Frank falls for Anna, love at first sight. Jesse tells Frank about a foolproof plan to make some money, better than before. He will rent a house, from Zo, an ex-con too, where they will grow hydroponically grown marijuana. Ryan, the green thumbed botanist will show Frank the ropes to growing 20 pounds a month after 3 months. All Frank has to do is watch, learn, and play security. Frank agrees and moves out of Shaw's place. But like all illegitimate ideas, this ends up on the wrong note. Zach dabbles in coke quite a bit and asks Frank to score some for him. Frank gets some from Zo. That night Zach comes to score with Anna on her birthday. Frank shows them a great time, one thing leads to another as they get hot and heavy while Zach binges. After they get serious, Zach asks Anna for her not to see Frank. After Frank makes Zach an offer he can't refuse, they see one another despite arguments on both sides. Jesse thinks it will only be a distraction for Frank in his new biz. They decide to move in together at the green house. Things fall apart when Ryan makes a crucial mistake in the hydro process. All the plants die along with Jesse's plan. Frank must find another way to make money especially with Anna to care for now as well. So Zo gets him into the cocaine business. Things flourish for a while, but like all good things, things come to a screeching halt when Frank is set up. Not allowing anyone to go down with him, Frank gets locked up in prison again only to find out Anna's pregnant. This time he has lost more than before which makes Frank want to do things right the next time around, proving diamonds in the rough exist.
