A “John Q” story with a family tragedy that makes a father an son learn how to deal with a broken heart and a single mother to live a below average life while none if us can escape destiny of death.
SYNOPSIS:
A story about appreciating life and knowing everything you love or are comfortable with can be gone in seconds. Following 2 lives leading up to an accident that kills a mother and a father to be; we then delve through the eyes of a father trying to raise a son and a widowed woman. Through fate and chance the son and woman meet while the father hides a medical problem that needs to be dealt with before it ends in tragedy. Peering into the home of a nice breakfast, the movie opens with how even the smallest of things or timing of events can be determined while a father and son rush off to work and school, the mother goes to run errands like usual only to be killed in a car accident. After this tragedy the father must raise and cope with the son along with his own broken heart. Then following the other side of the wreck, the driver of the other car tells us a tale of a struggling teenage daughter trying to go through life, school, a boyfriend, and family. She chooses love over living with her mother as tragedy always comes with time, she learns of a pregnancy, a death, and personal problems at once with calls to her significant other who runs a stop sign out of rush thus leading us to the beginning accident. As stars are meant to cross and life meant to become the ultimate play of life; tragedy crossed lovers meet and even enjoy one anothers’ company but after the truth reveals the horrors of how they met one another, life doesn’t let you realize that you won’t be sorry sometimes until, A GOOD THING IS GONE…
