This sounds exciting, Peter Wisan! One suggestion: Change "Only one man" to "Only a _________ (an adjective and the protagonist's position/role)."

Thanks, Maurice; that's a great suggestion!
You're welcome, Peter. You don't need "the main character." You can put "Only the last free human, a First Nations biologist, can prevent the extinction of our species."
Or, to give the logline a better flow, you could write: "After hybrid "manimals" rise up and dominate the earth, the last free human—a First Nations biologist—tries to prevent (or fights to prevent) the extinction of our species." You could go into detail on how he tries to prevent the extinction of our species. I don't think you need to put the part about the law being passed in the logline. You could save that for the synopsis.
