LOGLINE:

Sci-fi series about a group of atypical young-adults finding their way in the world, while navigating the (often ironic) superhuman abilities they begin to develop and investigating the cause, before the world falls into chaos.

SYNOPSIS:

Compound 1875 was developed in 2019, in the laboratories of Davenport-Pharma. Its creator, a chemical biologist named Dr Janine Davenport, oversaw a team tasked with prospecting for chemicals that could bind to the PPAR-beta receptor as a possible treatment for Autism.

In 2021 the project was shut down.

The attendees of the Young Person’s centre help each other stay calm and clear minded, working through numerous mental health issues, to keep their new abilities controlled. Or risk being taken by the government, who are attempting to contain the situation. As they investigate their own powers and why they have them, they realise people outside of the YPC have abilities too but are less able to control them. The PNDs have decisions to make in a world thrown into chaos, exploring themes of diversity, morality and belonging.

Only the absolute basics concerning:

Inciting incident-protag/antag-- goal/stakes-- failure lead to hell.

Just a first try:

When after a failed experiment to cure autism a group of atypical young-adults develop superhuman abillities, they must fight (or other word(s) for "fight") X ( the bad guy/ girls in max. three words=the people outside the YPC program ) before the world falls into chaos

Of course the redone logline in whatever form always leads yo the question how this other group gets their SH abilities? Not sure if this should be part of the logline and how to be described

It's a good idea, but it lacks a serious dramatic conflict. Stories about superpowers are almost always stories about a person's responsibility to society. Neither the logline nor the synopsis reflects this idea. Plus, there is no visible bright antagonist, which is an important part of any successful project.
