Three women. Two phone calls. One wrong number. One diagnosis. And a wedding anniversary that could only end one way.
SYNOPSIS:
Perfected In Love is a harrowing psychological thriller that follows Morgan, a devoted wife and mother whose world shatters upon discovering her wife Ash’s decade-long history of infidelity and secret "swinger" lifestyle. The betrayal takes a life-threatening turn when Morgan receives an HIV diagnosis, a result of Ash’s unprotected affairs. Driven to a psychotic break by the loss of her health, unresolved grief over the loss of her son, and the desecration of her 20-year marriage, Morgan orchestrates a meticulous trap for Ash's mistress, Pixie, drugging and kidnapping her to serve as the audience for a twisted final "anniversary celebration."
Dressed in her original wedding gown, Morgan subjects Pixie to psychological torture and forces Ash to participate in a warped reenactment of their wedding vows amidst the ruins of their family home. Perfected in Love reaches a visceral, nihilistic climax as Morgan methodically destroys their shared history—burning scrapbooks and family photos—before executing both Ash and Pixie in a fit of "vengeance personified." The story concludes with a house fire ignited by a kitchen burner, leaving the physical remains of their life to burn as the screen fades to a tragic flashback of the couple in happier times, leaving the audience to wonder if the revenge has already happened or is about to.
