SYNOPSIS:

“Leiper Grove” is written along the lines of recent films such as “Get Out” and “Midsommar.” The story follows Hayden, a driven clinical psychologist, whose family needs a break from their stressful big-city routine. When an old friend arrives at their New York condo, she offers Hayden the perfect opportunity to house-sit in Leiper Grove, an idyllic upstate community that seems to hold the elusive key to setting their lives at ease. After convincing her family to go along with her plan, Hayden finds the citizens of this small town almost too accomodating. As her family gets comfortable, cracks appear in her marriage and she discovers a dark connection to her past in the town’s summer festival.
