SCREAMFEST 2nd Place Winner. Comps: GHOSTBUSTERS meets HARRY POTTER

SYNOPSIS:

All hell breaks loose when a Philly Paramedic’s risky attempt to help two long-lost ghost kids reunite with their parents in the afterlife leads them into the grip of a Demon-Possessed Doctor who needs their souls to buy his permanent freedom from the underworld so he can unleash the apocalypse.

Paramedic, Jordan, (picture Sam Richardson), knows he’s the only one who can rescue the ghost kids but he never expected to be killed by the Demon-Doctor. That's when Jordan discovers his supernatural origin, he's a Nephilim (the son of a Fallen Angel). Jordan’s Spirit refuses to give up trying to rescue the ghost kids. He's got one chance to stop the Demon-Doctor. He must find the last existing Guardian Sword and extract its phantom spirit.

Jordan tracks down the sword, then wields it in an epic battle against the Demon-Doctor and delivers the Demon back to hell.

Jordan’s ghost is restored to human form as a Soul Guardian. It's his responsibility to safeguard lost souls from demonic harm, help them resolve unfinished business, and to guide them into the light.

What could possibly go wrong...

WHY NOW - The world needs big-hearted heroes like, real-life Philly Paramedic, Lawrence Amaker, (2017 Paramedic of the Year, Philadelphia) who took me on a terrifying, yet, hope-inspiring, ride-along, where he shared his wish that he could’ve somehow helped all the kids who couldn't be saved.

Winner: Second Place, at Screamfest LA. (as THE SERAPHIM). In 2005, SCREAMFEST LA was co-sponsored by the legendary Stan Winston. Screenwriting Competition in 2005, Stan met with me and made me promise to let Industrial Light and Magic design and create the supernatural investigation gadgets and special effects.

Quarterfinalist, ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy Screenwriting Competition 2021 (TUTTLESON'S GHOSTS)

Schemers Entertainment, Manager, David Binns, wrote: “I enjoy a good Amblin-esque, GHOSTBUSTERS-style, horror feature. Specter Vision (aka The Paramedic: Deadenders) is a great representation of your voice, while also showing your cross-genre range.”

WHY ME - As for me, my life’s misadventures and exploits led me to discover my brand: Heartfelt Dramedy, for Features and Series, about misfits struggling to become the heroes of their own lives.

I was the Lead Graphic Designer for the Coen Brothers' FARGO and THE BIG LEBOWSKI. I fell in love with storytelling, trained with Blake Snyder then with Jen Grisanti, and became an Amazon Studios Best Screenplay Competition Semi-Finalist. Was short-listed in both the NBC and ABC TV Writers Showcases, and so much more.
