A divorced comic seeks to find out why she was ghosted by the man she thought was “the one” before she gets blacklisted by him forever.

SYNOPSIS:

180 is a mockumentary of a hidden camera show that examines why your significant other, an ex, friend, or business partner is no longer speaking to you. The show starts off as a reality show that tries to mend relationships the first guest on the show, Marie, convinces them to make it a hidden camera show because her former lover refuses to be on the show. Producers Katie and Steve go along with it in efforts to stand out in a reality TV pitch. Marie’s irrational desperation is funny and scary at times and in hopes their twist of a reality show will impress Katie’s father, a hollywood award winning cinematographer who Katie seeks approval from.

The theme of the show is to “let go”, all the characters are holding on to something in their past that is reluctantly not allowing them to move on. They have 6 months to get the concept shot for a sizzle reel to pitch. and having to prove their worth to each other or themselves. This is a script in development as a 22-25 minute television pilot that could also be a web series. I would love to be considered for the festival and be able to bring the words to life.

The story is based off of a real life experience between myself and a former ghoster.
