Hours into the journey, a coordinated terrorist attack overwhelms the crew and the President’s Secret Service detail. They seize control of the nuclear-powered vessel. The President’s husband is taken hostage, communications are cut off, and US intelligence agencies misread the situation as an act of war by a hostile nation. Strategic bombers are mobilized, and the countdown to a global conflict begins.
