After a legendary daredevil dies attempting an impossible stunt to save his family, his daughter must battle poverty and tragedy to claim her own place in history by conquering the very jump that killed him.
SYNOPSIS:
Years have passed since daredevil legend Virus Macnamara walked away from his stuntman career to embrace a quieter life on the family farmhouse with his wife Shelly, a former circus trapeze artist, and their spirited young daughter Sirus. Though the days are simple, the money is tight. The bank threatens to seize the farm, a place tied deeply to Virus’s childhood and his father’s legacy. Haunted by unfinished business, Virus proposes one final act: The Dam Jump, the same deadly stunt he walked away from years prior. Shelly is heartbroken, but Virus convinces her it’s their last hope. As news spreads, the world turns its eyes to the impossible feat.
On the day of the jump, Virus launches into the air. He clears the gap, but the impact is fatal. His death is swift, stunning, and broadcast to millions. In the aftermath, the bank takes the farmhouse. Shelly and young Sirus are forced into a rundown trailer park. Shelly returns to the circus as a trapeze artist until a devastating fall ends her career forever. Now, a young woman in the 1960s, Sirus, makes a choice. No longer hiding in her father’s shadow, she takes up the mantle to finish what he couldn't. She returns to the same dam, soaring higher than anyone thought possible, landing the jump to become the greatest stuntwoman the world has ever seen.
